Hi all,
I am running a complex dynamic analysis simulating an impact event. I have done this using successive restarts of the same model to overcome the high computational time. Now, I want to load the structure, ie model post impact loading. when i try to do so I get an error saying that the restart violates domain decomposition used earlier (i ran the impact analysis on 8 cpus). Is there a way around this? I tried creating a new model using initial field conditions read ffrom the last step of the impact analysis. However, some instanced are not recognised as exisiting in the impact model, I suspect because I am using a FUMAT subroutine for my material model.
Any ideas if/how I can overcome this problem?
Thanks
