Good day everyone,

How long does it take to run the Abaqus/SPH analysis?

And how can we can get the output despite of running through many hours?

I am using a normal laptop.

It’s hard to say, the calculation time depends on various factors, including the number of DOFs (in this case the number of SPH particles), available CPUs and so on. You can run some simple benchmarks to see how long it takes to complete such an analysis on your machine.

In Abaqus results can be accessed even when the analysis is running. You can open the output database and see the currently available results at any time during solving.
