Abaqus - THERMAL ANALYSIS

Hello,

So, there is a debate between Abaqus and Ansys regarding to thermal analysis. Can anyone tell me what software is more suitable for themal analysis ?

I am using abaqus and i am noticing some limitation, for exemple not calculating directly the heat flow. Is it worth it to invest more time in Abaqus ? If i go to transiente and cfd analysis the limitations are going to be bigger ?

Should i go to Ansys ?

What do you mean with that? The heat flux is calculated and available as output HFL.

CFD is a different topic. Ansys (Fluent) is more powerful than Abaqus in that domain.
