Hello

I am new to this forum and have also just started my adventure with abaqus (6.9). I would like to apologize in advance for my english it may not be precise somtime, because i am no native.

I have the idea of creating a bank of video (or other if you
posses some) tutorials for Abaqus. It can be anything: linear or non linear analysis of beams, slabs, buckling problems, specyfing of interesting BC or anything that can be helpful for beginners or other users.

If someone finds any spare time to record and post something it would be very apreciated.

We can post movies on you tube or other sites and just give links.

I have found something myself for a good start:

it covers

1 - static analysis of bending beam
2 - natural frequencies analysis
3 - plastic behaviour of 2d plate
4 - static analysis of a truss
5 - dynamic response of a truss

Please, post anything you can find and record smething that can be usefull, even simple things

best regards

Here is something more

It is from the Simulia site.

The tutorials are on pdf, but they are made in
show-me-where-to-click manner so they can be easy to digest.

There are some sketches on the site that describe more then titles

1- Vibration analysis of a 3-D Beam structure with Abaqus/CAE
2- 3d beam analysis
3- Vex Robot Claw Assembly
4- Simple Beam and Stress Analyses with Abaqus
5 - Creating a Model for an Overhead Hoist with Abaqus/CAE.
6 - Creating and Analyzing a Simple Model in Abaqus/CAE.
7 - 2D Analysis of an Aluminum Bracket.
8 - Large Deformation Analysis of a Beam-Plate in Bending.
9 - 3 Bar Truss Example Problem.
10 - Stressing a Plate with a Circular or Elliptical Hole.

see you
