ABB Terminals REF545 Version 3.0

Does anyone have any experience of these please ? I operate version 2.0 and am being asked to upgrade due to memory buffer overload problems on this version. Has anyone had any serious issues with version 3.0 please.

as far as i know the memory buffer overflow issue was sorted out when ver 2.0 was released. The version after 2.0 is 2.5.The ver 3.0 has extra communication protocols compared to 2.5. The technical reference manual (download from

http://www.abb.com/substationautomation)

provides more details of teh various versions, releases etc refer section 7., pages 99-105.
