Hi everyone,

I have a question about UMAT, how many terms I have to define, will DDSDDE + STRESS be enough? And what's for to define SSE? Just for output?

Thanks,

Yes, if the analysis is not temperature-displacement coupled , then
the Jacobian matrix ,DDSDDE, and the the vector containing the stress components ,STRESS, do suffice.

Anyway, specific strain energy SSE is not mandatory for the solution therefore you may skip its computation within UMAT.
