Dear all

I am working in a consulting co.Currently I have some assignments of inspection fixture for welding fixture
for various auto bodies like hood ,BIW and underbody.
But I am new to this and wanted to do it on my own.How can I start?Does there is any website which provides any information @this topic?

Thank you all,

Dear Connery,

You best bet is to find a company that can design and manufacture the fixtures for you. Designing an effective fixture is not a simple job, which you can learn from a website or a book.

A fixture is only as good as the design. A poor choice of datums can result in a fixture that is not repeatable, and passes parts that should be rejected of vise versa.
