About Mascoat against CUI

Recently MasCOAT salemen come to our office to give a lecture on their product, and suggected that Mascoat is a best option to handle CUI(Corrosion Under Insulation). Anyone here has any experience on Mascoat? will you please give your opinions on this?

Apply phenolic epoxy layer properly under the insulation and it will provide also a long term primer protection.
Leaving metallic surfaces bare under non adhesive insulation is looking for corrosion troubles (but some people like it because this is obsolescence and this is their business model).

* Finding a solution is great * Knowing how to implement it is fantastic * Believing it is the only one and best is naive ?

Ask the salesmen to back up their statements by putting an ISO 19277 qualification dossier, independently verified, on the table for you.

What's the "best option" means, in terms of material quality, less labor or time to work with, or cost benefit, etc.?
Have the vendor to provide the actual product application and references.

Word to all: be wise and always define abbreviations, when used.

For instance… CUI can also mean [DoD] Controlled Unclassified Information
