1 11/16"-12 stub acme,
this is a thread in one drawing and I cannot found the 1 11/16" stub acme in the ASME/ANSI B1.8-1988-R2006. Who can tell me how to explain this? Any answer is welcome.

If you click on the "Search" button just underneath your posts Title (not the Green one above it) and put "stub acme" into the keywords, you may find something helpful there.

Machinery's Handbook offers formulas to calculate Stub ACME threads of any size and pitch.

Souls,
That’s correct, 1.6875-12 Stub Acme is not tabulated in ASME B1.8. It only means that ASME does not consider it as a preferred size. That does not mean that it, or any other size variation, cannot be manufactured if there is a specific need. Nothing illegal about it. Expanding on the previous post by metalonis, just use the formulas to calculate what you want. Section 1.7 of the spec says the same thing.

Thanks all you have done for me!

1.688 - 12 Stub Acme-G
c/w 45 Degree End Chamfers

External (A) Internal (B)
Major Dia. 1.688/1.683 Minor Dia. 1.638/1.643
Pitch Dia. 1.652/1.636 Pitch Dia. 1.663/1.679
Minor Dia. 1.628/1.611 Major Dia. 1.698/1.714

Standard Wire Selection (3 Wire) = 0.045 dia.
Pitch Diameter over Wires (3) = 1.699/1.716
Tensile Stress Area (Normal) 2.070 in^2
Shear Area per Unit Length Engagement = 2.733 in^2/in (Nut)
= 2.335 in^2/in (Pin)

All stub acme threads are class 2 fit, hence the Acme tolerance and allowance for class 2 are inherent with the formulae used to calculate the particulars.
