About the *ORIENTATION

Hi,

I've got a question about the *ORIENTATION, the material orientation in Abaqus. If a tensile bar has some material with different orientations but the whole model defined as isotropic, will the orientations change the tensile behaviors?

This will have impact on stress tensor components. You can easily check it on a simple model such as plane stress rectangular plate with symmetry and subjected to tension.
