While looking into components, I find that Power Pack items, in this case Structural Steel, include the measurement of the part. This value is the length used when inserted and updates when the part is updated.

We are trying to make our own components and I would like to know how to include this feature. We would like what 3D modelers would produce (BOM, Standard parts etc.) but do not need 3D. How can I set the parts up with an automatic description, std features, and a quick user library (maybe image tile menu)?

Is there any sites that might help?
