We recently upgraded to Dell Ultrasharp flat panel monitors. We are noticing circles now appear as ovals. Is there a way to calibrate and adjust to allow circles to display round vs oval?

You have the wrong settings on your monitor. I just installed a couple of Dell monitors on this computer and they both came with a plastic sheet over the screen with the recomended screen resolution. Setting screen settings at that value gives me round circles. Setting it at any other resolution gives me ovals. If you right click on your desktop and go to "settings" the right value is usually the maximum resolution that shows up on the slider.

Make sure you have the latest video drivers too. Each software company needs to update and certify certain video cards to allow for the correct aspect ratio on some newer aspect ratio monitors.
