I have a drawing (my friend does at least) which when the UCS is rotated 90 degrees all his polylines with a global width become segmented rectangles with a width of that particular global width, like a chain of rectangles still joined together. Strange that it doesnt apear a so in UCS world.

Any ideas as to why?

Cheers. Sean.

Sean,

is the rotated UCS parallel to th plane of the polyline? If not, the hollow-effect ist normal, IMHO...

That looks like the right answer - i'll find out tomorrow. If it is how do you edit lots of objects such that they are parallel to the UCS (assuming the UCS is in a flat plan and the objects are the problem?)

Cheers. Sean.

If the polyline have depth in the Z direction change their "thickness" back to zero under the "format" pull down menu.
