I am not so hot with 3D. Can you help.

Is there a method of clipping 3D faces in similar fashion to using EXTRIM in 2D - presumebly a LSP routine. We have a 3D place which we need to edit but removing a part of the centre. I guess this would be similar to clipping blocks. Is there a method for that too.

Thanks

A 'lite' solution would be to be able to select 3d faces within the polyline as proably only 10% of them cross the line. Is there a method to selecting them (3d faces) within a boundery (for later deletion) (talking about 200 objects)

In answer to my second question it is to use select and wp or cp for the selection - quite nifty from:

vplace.ced.berkeley.edu/arch133a/Tutorial3.1.doc

Thanks to who ever that is.

First question still stands.
