On some small scale structural / Civils layout drawings (eg 1:100) it is sometimes necessary to move the dimension text to aid clarity in conjested areas of the drawing. The the text placement on the standard setting (dimtmove = 0) is not often suitable.
Currently, If a dimension text needs to move, I select the dim text to be moved, open the properties pallete and change the dim fit / text movement setting to 'move text, no leader'. This allows me to move the text to where I require it.
To save time, does anyone know of a way I can set up a command / autolisp that would allow me to do the same thing, without having use /open the 'properties' pallete. (I.E. basicly changing the dimvar dimtmove from 0 to 2 on an individual basis)
Any comments would be appreciated.
