Acad 2010 Ribbon Bars

Dear Folks;

Is it easy to turn off the ribbon bars/menus in acad 2010 and replace them with the smaller icons from earlier versions ?

I have custom toolbars set up in 2006 which keep almost all the icons I need on the screen at one time withing easy reach.
