I'm not familiar with either of those printers but I bet if you check you manuals you will find info on plotting HPGL (Hewlett Packard Grahics Language) files. If you have HPGL/2 files I don't believe that the plotters can handle them directly. Do you have AutoCAD. If you do and have express tool volume 9 (for ACAD2000) I believe their is a plt-to-dxf translater otherwise you might have to purchase a program like Camtastic. I hope this help you.

I follow the steps as under when I have to get the print of my drawing when printer is not available/out of order
1)copy plot file to floppy
2)on PC where working printer is attachedd,
on dos arompt type
copy *.plt lpt1 press return
you will get the print of your drawing
plt is extension of plot file whatever the name is
lpt1 is printer port to which it is attached
