Accelerator / shrotcut assignation impossible

Hello coleagues

I am trying to assign F5 button as "define in work object" , when select a given object on the tree, but when I go tools -> customize -> commands the "accelerator" field is gray hence it does not allow me to assign the shortcut...

Can i change that somehow ? why some commands allow the "accelerator" field to be used (i already have assigned F2 as hide / show)?

I found a workaround for this.

Create a Toolbar then add the define in work object command to the toolbar with either the Add Command button or drag&drop from commands tab. After that, the Accelerator field is enabled.

Edit: you don't need to create one, just drag&drop it to an existing toolbar.

I really don't get how an option like this is disabled default. I'm toggling it a hundred times daily...
