ACCU Starting

Anybody here have any idea about working of Air cooled condensing units? They have more than one compressor..I want to know wheather all these compressors turn on simultaneously or in steps..? I wanted to know the starting current..

They will turn on in steps. Use 6 times running current and 3 or four times rated kW due to the very low power factor when starting.

Yes they will..For example an ACCU has two circuits of 2 compressors each.Each Compressor having a KW of 100.So max starting current can be 3*(100+100)? and not 3*(100+100+100+100)..
