ACI-224R1-Crack Calculation

Recently I have been updating a spread excel sheet to calculate crack width.
But I failed to find the long equations in any textbook.
These equations are used to calculate stress in steel reinforcement.

I have found a book related to Chinese, American and European Concrete Design, containing above mentioned equations.
Now I want to know how should we understand "A" in ACI 224R-2001.

I'm not familiar with ACI 224R, but a common model for calculation of crack widths assumes that between cracks the tensile strain in the bar is transferred to a block of concrete extending from the tension face to a depth twice the distance from the centroid of the tension reinforcement to the tensile face, i.e. "an area of concrete symmetric with the reinforcing steel". A is the area of this block assigned to each bar.

Yes, better help find some books or examples.
