We are submitting our design for Secant pile shoring design. We usually follow BS standards but the recent shift in the ACI 318-19 designs is forcing us to change our approach. While we do get the longitudinal steel bars requirement from Prokon, unfortunately for the shear reinforcement we dont have any software/ confirmed calculations for piles. Since we are designing for shoring piles, the shear force has to be doubled for the spacing between the reinforced pile i.e SF (output from wallap) * 1.4 FOS * 2* SPACING. Can someone please suggest any calculations/ free software to calculate the same in ACI 318-19 SI units??
