Hi can Anyone please confirm me that there are no minimum cover to be applied on shear walls for fire protection?because ACI code seems not indicating such a requirement.it only talks about overall thickness.

I'd imagine you still need to comply with minimum covers in general.

Check clause 4.11.2 in ACI318-19 which states:-
4.11.2 Where the general building code requires a thickness of concrete cover for fire protection greater than the concrete cover specified in 20.5.1, such greater thickness shall govern.
This may mean this requirement is covered elsewhere in other general building codes as far as the ACI compliance framework is concerned. So it is required, just not covered in ACI standard as I read it.

In the associated commentary clause, it references ACI216.1 for further information on the fire resistance of structural concrete which may provide further information on why ACI318 does not specifically give minimum concrete covers.

You may find that IBC and/or NFPA has more to say about fire protection requirements than ACI. The fire protection required partially depends on the use of the space.
