I've done an Internet search, but found very little that is helpful so far. Do any of you folks have experiance with acid stained, LIGHTWEIGHT concrete floors.
I have a client that wants to use radiant heating in a two inch thick, lightweight topping slab and then acid stain the finished produce. I've seen the acid staining on normal weight concrete and, if done well, it looks great.
I have not seen it on lightweight concrete and I'm concerned about porosity of the slab, heating pipe in the topping and how the lightweight aggregate will hold up. Has anybody out there in ciberland actually done this? Any suggestions for information besides ACI and PCA?
