I am seeking a good, up-to-date reference resource for the acoustical properties of plastics. Is there a "standard" resource for this, even if it includes other property areas? Thank you.

I don't know of one good one stop shop for that data but I can give you the hint to look for DMA or DMTA data. The damping of the polymer is proportional to the tan delta value of the polymer at the given frequency and temperature. That expresses the lossiness of the polymer. In general you are looking for viscous types of polymers like SBS, polyurethanes and other soft polymers.

There is not any memory with less satisfaction than the memory of some temptation we resisted.

Here is short list. I had another one that had lot more but it went down with my computer. They are several out there.

If you have a particular product in mind get hold of the technical group that cover this product to get this information.

unclesyd said "here is short list," but I do not see a list. What am I missing? Thanks. -Dale
