I am a relatively new user to ProE Wildfire 2.0/3.0. I need to modify our "default" .dtl file, but I cannot find where it is located. Is there a way to backtrack to the "default" .dtl file the Pro always goes to when you create a new drawing. I can opening a drawing and then open a different .dtl, but I want the drawing to come up automatically with my "modified" .dtl file.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

This post contains no political overtones or undertones for that matter and in no way represents the poster's political agenda.

Set the config option drawing_setup_file to point to your modified.dtl file

You might also want to set pro_dtl_setup_dir if you need multiple setup files for different size drawings or different units.

One thing that I should point out is that the default dtl file is only used when you don't use a template file - you will need to modify the settings in each template file as well.
