Hi

If we experience leak in actuator that is causing a control valve not to open fully or up to desired opening, will it help if we increase the instrument air pressure to the actuator to compensate for the leak and get the valve to open more..

thank you

Ensure not to increase over the actuator pressure limit.
If not sure, don't do it, instead to fix the actuator leak.

Geeeez, you should fix it as it will get worse and worse especially if you increase he pressure. It can also screw with the control algorithm because that goes into the timing and speed.

Hi,
One thing if you increase the pressure leaking area may get weakened & it will lead to increase leaking more which will be worster than earlier, so don't do that try to fix the issue.
