An occasional ADAMS 2003 user runs it and receives error:
aview.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0xc00000005) occurred in the application at location 0x00825fed.

Apparently, MS Office 2010 was recently installed and is suspected as the culprit.

Any ideas or workarounds (besides the obvious of removing Office 2010)?

Thanks ... Tom

Probably best to contact MSC, I must admit I had thought that 64 bit XP wasn't a supported OS.

Having said that Aview is a fairly untroublesome program to get running. Does this happen on every run?

Cheers

Greg ... Opened a case with MSC who suggested removing Office 2010. ADAMS was working on this x64 w/s prior to the Office 2010 install. Yes, the error occurs each time ADAMS runs now. Scheduling to remove Office 2010 and reinstall Office 2003 as a test. ... Tom
