Hello:
I am working with Adams/Car, and I am trying to model an in-wheel electric motor arrengment.
My first Idea was to integrate brakes template with powertrain capabilities, as with in-wheel motors all the drive forces are applied to the spindle and reacted into the knuckle. However, I don't think this approach will work, as Adams test-rigs (SDI) will need independant sub-systems for powertrain and brakes.
Does someone have any experience with in-wheel motors in Adams? Any help and or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Regards
