Add a "Total Weight" to Table-based BOM

I have an assembly drawing with a "Weight" column in the BOM. I am trying to add a row at the end of the BOM that will show the total weight. As of yet I'm having no success. Is this a "Properties" issue where a special property needs to be added and linked to the proper cell?
I have looked for previous threads concerning this problem, but have found none that address this specific issue. Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if there is a way to do this other than using the top level in the bom. I imagine you have a list of components and their weight. Do the Sub assy show their weight. I use a custom BOM so I can't help much here, but if the Top Level Assy were in the BOM would the weight show for it.

I don't remember for certain, but I thought I saw something like this in the 2005 What's new guide with the new table based BOM....
