In SW help: look up Toolbox and how to make a custom standard. You'll need to associate your thread with a piece of hardware. However, I'm still not clear on the relationship between threads and hardware.
I'm not finding any help in the help. I believe this is functionality that used to be there and is now gone? (Someone I worked with at my last job was able to do this on an older version of SW). My VAR said to submit an enhancement request but I was hoping someone out there had a solution or work around. This has to be a common problem that SHOULD have an easy solution. I know that I'm not the only person trying to put a tapped hole for an M12 prox in a plate.
The trick is in noticing the inconspicuously tiny Copy Standard icon (two overlapping folders) which appears in the top left corner of the graphics area, only after selecting a standard.
