Add walls/columns on the level the start

Hi All,

Is it possible to add a column or wall object on the level that they begin? I can only add them underneath the floor that they support.

Trying to add columns from an architectural CAD file.

Only if you're in a 3D view.

Simple workaround is just place the architectural CAD file on the level above and draw the columns that way. Either that or draw the columns as you would, replicate up one level with deleting original objects option toggled on.
