Hello!

I would like to modify some older models in Creo. We have some new relations what I would like to add to the older model.

It means, that I have to add these extra lines to hundreds of assemblies and parts. Of course I don't want to open all the files one-by-one. I know that somehow it is possible by using trail file but I've never done it before, so is there anybody who can explain this method? I'm pretty sure that this would be very useful for many others.

Cheers and thanks,

VR

Even with the trail file, you still need to open each file.

Your best method is to look at ModelCheck in batch mode.
Do a check for a relation or add if the relation is not found.

I haven't done this in 10 years, so I don't remember what we had to set up.

All the files are going to get opened. I prefer the use of convenient mapkeys that are operated by AutoIt, but I have done similar things creating custom trail files using VBA out of Excel.
