I've got a quick question for you guys - how can I add page sequence numbers to the label that prints oin the border of my drawings? This may sound redundant but my customer uses a non-standard drawing numbering system that does not include the normal (sht 1 of 4, sht 2 of 4...) type of number. This means that out in the field you could lose the last sheet(s) and never know it. We can't change the format but could probably add something in the border label without an issue.
Thanks in advance for your anticipated responses.

go with parameters. but you cn only loose a sheet if you delete it

Actually, I was referring to losing the piece of paper that represented the last sheet of a drawingm not the file itself. I just don't feel right printing a drawing without noting how many sheets are there on the label and don't quite know how to add that info. Thanks anyway.

There are two system parameters to use.

Thanks Ben - I am aware of the parameters but wanted to kno whow to get the label to see and use them. I can't make any changes to the actual format.

Kim,
If you print to PDF (as we do).
You could add a water mark to the pdf only.
This would eliminate the need to change the format.
I saw an article on how to do just that. I just need to remember where I saw it......

Cheers,

JW
