Hello;
I usally use Solidworks, and I'm trying to just add some text to a dimension in Draftsight. Actually just the word max. This seems quite easy in solidworks, but not sure how to do it in Draftsight, & I'm not getting much as I search.
This is probably simple for those who know what they're doing. Anyone got a tip on how to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for any input;

Another option is to enter whatever text you want int the "Text override" field. Click on whatever dimension you want to modify and find the field under the "Text" heading. Whatever you enter in here will override the dimension measurement. If you want to still use the measurement value just type <> and DraftSight will insert the measured value. For instance if you want to add the diameter symbol to a dimension of 3.000, click the dim, find the Text override field, and type %%C<> and it will give you the 3.000 dim with the proper symbol in front of it. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
