Adding views in Drafting , NX6 1

Hi,
Sometimes, when I try to bring a view from the 3D Modeling, despite the fact the view border is huge, I can't see the part unless I move the view around......Why is that? It acts like there's something in WCS absolut (Modeling). What should I do in order to control this issue?

If you working in the Master Model mode (where the drawing file is an 'assembly' with the part being drafted a 'component') make sure the component was loaded using the 'Model' Reference Set. If that didn't help, go back to the master part file and edit the Reference Set so that it ONLY includes the model that you wish to see in the Drawing.

You might find that if your part is far away from the absolute wcs then the view boundary is taking into account the datum csys that you'll most likely have if your using the standard parts. Hide the datum csys in modelling and then try and add a view. It could also be a piece of geometry far away from your model that pushing the boundary out. Post the part if you can, that would make it easier to find the cause.
