Addins for AutoCAD

Maybe someone on here can help me out. It's been 3 years since I had AutoCAD in college and now I'm at a job using it pretty regularly. I saw a guy who had an addin the other day that allowed a "add lenth" command to add the length of lines along radi's and other non straight objects. He said it was a lisp file?? I'm not sure about this. Can someone point me in the right direction? Any other handy add ins would be appreciated. I work for a cable haress company that makes wiring harnesses for govt projects, so there's lots of drawing involved.

a lisp command is a simple way to do multi-functions in one step. you can get some amazing results, and with autocad being open architecture, there are hundreds of thousands of lisp programs floating around.

Its quite easy to learn if you cant find one that is exactly what you want. To get your own menus and input boxes is a little more involved but certianly possible.

Go to any cad magazine websites and they usually have a area that allows users to share or sell these "add ons"
