Define your operating requirements for at least two conditions, generally max flow / low DP, min flow high DP and max flow high DP.

Then together with your other requirements and data such as gas and liquid properties, pressure ratings, shut in pressure etc, put them in a datasheet and send to a vendor like FMC, Cameron or similar.

"Choke valve" tends to refer to the first control valve on a wellhead. Is this what you mean?

Also specify trim materials required to suit the severity of erosion. For heavy duty service, the best there is available is tungsten carbide trim. For light erosion, hardened SS316 ( stellite) may be enough. Speak to a materials engineer if there are corrosive chemicals in the fluid.

We have no idea as the OP never bothered replying.

"choke valve" is typically a wellhead thing, but can be used elsewhere. Normally called a control valve anywhere other than a wellhead.
