Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - "this.flattenPages()" doesn't work.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Does not work =

1) Nothing is flattened -> One answer from above was to run the command twice.
2) Produces an error
3) You don't have javascript installed/enabled?

We tried googling.

Our flatten is occurring on an RFI from the well-established GC. We've been working with PDF's since their existence. This is the first time we've experienced this.

What does javascript have to do with this? Even if you explain it, I still may not understand. I'm a simple operator. Out side of Excel, I don't know much programming language, but, give it a brief, simple explanation, if you will.

It's a programming language command. Javascript is one way the command is sent to Acrobat.

What is a "GC"? How do you know this command is the one that is not working?

I'm sorry... GC = General Contractor.

I know the command is not working, because, after execution, I can still edit the text that I entered/added to the PDF document. (I must be misunderstanding something that you would ask that question.)

How are you running that particular command? There is no "this.flattenPages()" button.
