ok i know no one has seen me in a while thats cause i have been extreemly busy working uhhh but now i might have a little time on my hands cause im at a road block and could use some help i have been playing around with ADT3.3 the last 2 months for eveyone who doesnt know what that is its Architectural Desktop 3.3 well since version 3 there are new aec objects in it called structural members which can be quite helpfull in creating cutlists so i have come this far
1 i know how to create custom SM (structural members)
2 i know how to get a schedual to work and count them
3 i know how the tags work to get them to work with the SMs and the schedual

now the problems i am having are this trimming and having an actual true length of a structural member all works great as lonk as the member doesnt have to be mitered to another
also changing the SMs justification without moving the member a big problem as i could get around the first if i could do this easily maybe tigrek if your reading this you could help :))
also have some questions dealing with multiview blocks and tags wich in ADT go hand in hand
AECTag- is a mutiview block-a multiview block is comprised of several other blocks to create one block that shows others in diferent views only
so the problem i have here in the tag department is getting a tag that will look like a dimension in one or all elevation views that is editable and stretchable maybe some one has more experience with them that i.
help would be greatly appreachiated if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place
