Does anyone have suggestions on what the "must haves" of Manuals, Codes, Standards or Handbooks are for HVAC design?

Mechanical code enforced in your area, ASHRAE 62, ASHRAE HOF,lots of hard knocks

Take the "V" out of HVAC and you are left with a HAC(k) job.

Just glancing at my bookshelf the HVAC books I use: ASHRAE Fundamentals (Applications, Systems and Refrigeration), ASHRAE 62, ASHRAE 55, ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 15, ASHRAE 135 Building Code, Natural Gas Code, Manual of Industrial Ventilation, Mark's Mechanical, Cameron Hydraulic Data, Pipefitter's manual, SMACNA design guides, Carrier System Design Binder, B&G Engineering Design Binder, HVAC Equations, Data and Rules of Thumb.

I've also got a stack of plumbing and fire protection books... but I like books.

Chris can I buy the Carrier System Design Binder from Carrier?
And where can I buy the B&G Engineering Design Binder?

Books are grate. Thanks in advances for any help

Sincerely

I got the B&G Design Binder from filling out a request form on their webpage and then talking to my rep.

I inherited the Carrier design binder from an retiring engineer.

My carrier binder was a victim of storm surge.
