I need some knowledge,
What will happen or may I use US-36(Ø3.2) filler Wire after PWHT?
we will use that US-36 filler wire as insertion in the middle of membrane panel to get the target width of the panel before weld
but our available US-36 as insertion is undergone by PWHT. is it safe to weld?

Yes sir.., Welding wire for Submerged Arc Welding(SAW)
US-36 brand name.., maker of KOBELCO.., AWS No. F7A2-EH14

This solid electrode is high manganese and can be used with or without PWHT.

Hi Mark,

In addition to the guidance provided by metengr. You may find this data sheet as useful. Look at the last page of the attachment , where all weld mechanical properties of US-36 Filler& MF38 flux is documented. Both of the products are quite reliable and very popular Kobelco SAW products, and extremely popular amongst fabricators in Asia.
The major drawback is high weld hardness & UTS due to higher Mn in the weld(@ 1.7%). Hence for sour service where PWHT and hardness control is mandatory this wire flux combination is a suspect.
Assuming your application for Sec-I code hardness control should not be an issue.
If PWHT is mandated by design code or clients' specification any additional welds on PWHT-ed welds should require PWHT also.
That's my rationale.
Thanks.
