Hi,
I am designing a small spire on top of a building in Guatemala. I am unfamiliar with the La Asociación Guatemalteca de Ingeniería Estructural y Sísmica (AGIES) code. I have the design criteria for the building but I am not familiar with the language (Maybe it's in Spanish). Does anyone have the pdf for the AGIES code or have any directions? Usually, when working on similar projects in South America, I convert the wind speed to mph and use ASCE7-16 but I always have some problem with the seismic aspect. Could someone interpret the snippet below? I am interested in knowing the wind force/seismic force on a structure.
Thank you.
