Hi All,
When assessing spur gears using AGMA (say 2001-D04), many of the equations require that both the pinion and gear are both spur gears. The most simple case is u = gear ratio.
What should one use when the gear is a "rack" (and therefore such equations aren't appropriate)?
Many thanks in advance.
