Anybody know of any recent testing or comments of wing designs using full span fowler flaps and spoilers?
(The only reports That I've seen is by NACA 1947).

We are about to do flight test with a full scale aircraft with a NACA 23015, 46 ft wing span, chord 60 ". The spoilers are located at 30% C with a span of 65" and 12" chord, located at the wing tip.Maximum spoiler deflection is 0- 35 degrees and with full reflex 15- 45 degrees.

Aircraft is on EDO 3160's, gross weight 3600 lbs, empty weight is 1605 lbs.

I've brought up the topic in the past

thread1-74218

Minifloresta laid the thread to rest with a few examples of problems that can crop up.

Since you've already built your airplane (four-seat bushplane?), the question turns around: What design requirement caused you to use spoilers and were there any challenges in making it work? I'm interested in knowing how your flight tests progress.
