I am in Thailand that the ambient temperature about 30-40*c , then I have always problem with the air inlet too high temp. so the air compressor(100 hp) will shutting down when the air temperature too high,
Anybody have the idea to help me.

Call the manufacturer and ask whether the design is capable of handling that ambient and what he can offer to fix it. Using water in a mist can sometimes solve this, but water usage may be costly.

Zekeman's got it right

Evaporative cooling is OK for dry climates (it has its limits). One must use good water quality, not just ordinary tap water.

If the compressor cannot handle the hot intake there are two options: cool the incoming air with chillers or get a compressor designed for hot climate service.

Were the ambiant conditions not provided to the vendor when the compressor was purshased?

What kind of compressor are you operating? And what pressure are you looking for out of the compressor?

Is the compressor air-cooled or water-cooled?

If it's water-cooled, is there water in the cooling system? are the jacket passages and heat exchangers all gunked up? Is the water pump working? Is there are fan on the heat exchanger? Is it working?

If it's air-cooled, is the compressor installed in an enclosure or small room where there is no flow of cooling air?

Is there an oil cooler? Same questions as above apply for it.
