For cleanrooms I design, I typically use ISO class 10,000-100,000; "Grade A-D", with grade A/Class 10,000 being full laminar flow ceiling at 100fpm with low wall returns and 100+ ACH. Find out the classification for your room, then see if the HEPA will obtain that cleanliness level. I prefer Flanders and Camfil Farr. Don't trust the salesman whatever you do. This is an area where you really need an engineer who designs cleanrooms. You do not sound like you know much about HEPA filtration. Be cautious.
