I've used information provided by the various manufacturers for their aircraft, Locheed, Boeing, etc. They have manuals that stipulate runway requirements, wheel loadings and dimensions for wheel spacing, tail height, width, etc. Loading stipulates empty, fueled, loaded with passengers and/or cargo, takeoff, landing, etc.
We're working w/ general aviation airports evaluating existing runways and helping them determine what aircraft they can land based on existing conditions and structural capacity of runway. I was hoping to find a source that included the data you list for a variety of manaufacturers. I will look for info from individual manufacturers, though. Thanks for the info.
I no longer have the manuals (haven't done any airport work for 15 years), but they are prepared in a binder form and may be 2 or 3 inches thick... They are loaded with info. They are usually aircraft specific and the information should be obtainable from the supplier.
I still use my copy of PCA software for designing pavements, and, with a little fudging, use it for designing slabs for racking, etc. Software is a little klunky (designed prior to Windows) but I've found it extremely useful over the years for both design and analysis of runways and hangar slabs.
The PCA also has/had an excellent publication titled "Design of Concrete Airport Pavement" by Packard. My copy is dog eared and almost thread bare... <G> There are also programs available from the FAA (I think) using a layered elastic model approach for pavement designs.
that is a database of aircraft characteristics. You can search by manufacturer or model and find weights, dimensions, line drawing, etc. It's not as detailed as info direct from manufacturer, but it's useful.
