Hi All,
I am a long-time member of this website service from the structural area (and subscribe to many other forums too!). I am also a "young" engineer with several decades of experience!
I am presently working to become more proficient with Microstation CADD software, in particular 3D. In doing so I have bought a book that addresses this pretty well, however, the book has me drafting an airplane. Presumably this airplane is a model one, and if left to my expertise in the area, will never leave the ground!
The problem is that the book refers me to a "compufoil" design software which at one time allowed you to make a airfoil design and save it as a .dxf file. I'm OK with all of this so far, but the book is several years old and the latest demo versions of Compufoil don't support the .dxf file.
I would like to know if any one knows of another program similar to compufoil that does support the .dxf feature. I am looking to have a 2212 standard airfoil.
Thanks in advance.
