Airleron angle

Hello,

does someone know where to find how the airleron angle is calculated?
I mean the maximum deflection of the airleron wich is needed.

I used google too, but only found very complicated instructions and a lot of mathematical stuff

I just have a question about the calculation of the airleron deflection angle.

Where do I get this data from?

1. Change in lift with aileron deflection: cldeltaa
2. Airfoil’s lift curve slope: cldelta
3. Section drag coefficient: cdo

Is it possible to calculate them? Or do they come from flight tests?

1) dCl/da ... you should be able to estimate (calculate is too "hi' folutin'") similar to a simple T/E flap ... basic design texts (torenbeek, raymer) or Hoerner (sp?) "Fluid Dynamic Lift"

airfoil Cl is generally available (for the wing airfoil and the aileron airfoil; also Cd. look up the airfoil data (maybe on the NACA/NASA site).
