I want to calculate the Bw value for an unequal angle. The values in AISC are only for American Angle sizes and I am using European sizes. I found a formula in "Guide to Stability Design Criteria for Metal Structures”, 5th Edition but when I check it (uising an American angle size) against the AISC values in Table C-F10.1 I get a different answer! Can anyone assist, I've attached the calculation?
